Old Masters Cottage - Leven, East Yorkshire
Old Masters Cottage is a five star holiday cottage (see tripadvisor) which is steeped in history with the main part of the cottage dating back to the late 1800's next to the Old School House restaurant on the edge of the village. The cottage stands on the old boys school site and has many stories from the locals. The cottage has recently been subject to a substantial program of renovations and is now a much loved and beautifully presented holiday home, which can sleep up to 8 very comfortably in 4 lovely bedrooms.

Warmest house we've ever stayed!
This is the third year in a row that a group of 3 friends and 5 children have stayed at Old Masters Cottage.
It really is home away from home and we look forward to coming back for many years to come.
The cottage is really well equipped with everything you need for busy families and the hot tub is a fabulous addition when the children are in bed!
Nothing is too much trouble for Holly, the host and we
are already looking to book for next year!

We are brother and sister meeting together with our families for a mini break. We stayed for a long weekend. We chose this cottage because of its location, the photos on the website, the number of rooms, the wood burner and that Holly could provide a hot tub. We were not disapointed with the house in the slightest. Beautifully decorated with every essential that you need - a real home from home. The welcome pack was brilliant.
Holly's attention to detail and customer service is fantastic. I highly recommend this cottage - you will not be disappointed!

Whatever your interests we have something to suit - to give you a taste of what you could choose to enjoy here in East Yorkshire...
If you like wildlife and nature you will not be disappointed with many unique experiences on the doorstep with local wetlands and woodlands. Those who like heritage and culture will struggle to decide which stately homes or cultural events to take in, if you like more active pursuits there is an endless list from walking and cycling to coasteering! Plenty to keep the children amused whatever the weather.
The Yorkshire Wolds are renowned for their food & drink offering so you can take in vineyards, breweries and distilleries or sample some of the excellent local restaurants and food producers. You can even try a chocolate workshop at our local chocolatier.
